Today my portrait painting class started up again. I never learned this model's name, but her coppery red hair and distinctive features were a joy to paint.

- I spent hours drawing with my artist dad when I was a kid. Art took a back seat to school and career, until an article about daily painters inspired me to start drawing and painting again. I post new work on this blog to chart my progress.
