I spent countless hours drawing and painting alongside my artist dad when I was a kid. Then, art took a back seat to career for many years.
One day, an article about daily painters inspired me. Each day, I'd paint and post a new small work on this blog ... sometimes at midnight!
Now, newly retired, I'm painting and blogging again. Over the years, I've learned that mastering this craft is a never-ending journey -- we can work at it for a lifetime, and still only scratch the surface.
But sometimes, when everything goes right, you make magic ... and whether a painting turns out well or not, there's no better feeling than standing back, seeing what you created, and sharing it with others.
I live in Westchester, NY with my husband, and a rescue dog named Sam. Occasionally, our grown kids camp out here, too.
