This is a blog to share my love of painting and drawing. Daily practice isn't always possible, but it remains the best way to make consistent progress.
Welcome to the ranks of the Daily Painters! There is no better way to grow as an artist. You will see improvement very quickly if you keep to this discipline. As the daughter of an artist and having wisely studied with some excellent painters plus your obvious enthusiasim means that you are well on your way! Good for you! Trixie is beautiful, and having grown up in NY I loved the Black & White cookie (had one last night, I can still get them here in CT) and I haven't thought about egg creams since I was a kid LOL. I'll have to see if I can concoct one myself! Happy Painting! Jan
Hi! If you're interested in any of my paintings, or a commission, email me. I love to paint portraits of people and animals, and other subjects with special meaning.
Contact: Rhondahurwitz1 "at" gmail.com. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
I spent hours drawing with my artist dad when I was a kid. Art took a back seat to school and career, until an article about daily painters inspired me to start drawing and painting again. I post new work on this blog to chart my progress.
Two things I've learned: 1) art is a never-ending journey, and 2) I'm happiest in front of an easel:)
I live in Goshen, CT with my husband, a rescue dog named Cassie.
Thanks for visiting!
